By default, TakeStock 2 gets information about a security from Yahoo Finance.  You can select different information providers for specific positions.


Note:

A position's information provider is automatically set when you specify its symbol; changing the information provider on the fly may prevent TakeStock 2 from retrieving the position's information.


To change a position's information provider:


    1. In the portfolio view, select the position whose information provider you want to change.

    2. Click the Edit toolbar button.  The Edit Position window appears.

    3. Select the Information Provider tab.

    4. Click the selector below Get information about this security from and choose the new information provider.

    5. Click OK to save your changes.
