Snapshots
A snapshot is a record of the values of a portfolio's positions at a specific time. Viewing a series of snapshots reveals a portfolio's performance over a period of time. When viewing a portfolio's snapshots, you can zoom in on a specific period of interest.
- To view a portfolio's snapshots, select the portfolio in TakeStock Explorer and click the Snapshots tab.
- You can take a snapshot at any time or have TakeStock 2 automatically snapshot all portfolios whenever the database is refreshed. You can also create snapshots of a portfolio's past (historical) values.
