![]() ![]() After spending a year at the Department of Management and Accounting Studies at Oxford Polytechnic (UK), I returned to India in 1980 to do my CA internship with A. F. Ferguson & Co. in Bombay. Financial services was looking like the sunrise industry and I entered the investment banking world and joined DSP Merrill Lynch in 1985. Since then, I've been working in the banking industry across institutions like ANZ Grindlays, Jardine Fleming, Commerzbank and finally decided to break free from the banking world in 2002 when I was with Deutsche Bank. Interestingly, since 2003 I work with our old batchmate Rajiv Saxena, who runs an accounting and consulting firm based in Dubai. I look after the financial consulting practice for the firm and am hence co-located between Dubai and Bombay. Along the way I met my wife Renu who was introduced to me by our very own Bobby Sajdeh! Renu works for the Taj Group and we have two daughters, Sanjana and Sunaina, who study at Cathedral School. I play a lot of badminton at the CCI to keep fit and read a lot.

I think it's wonderful to connect with schoolmates after three decades. For me, Campion represented my youth and some wonderful friendships which have continued over these years. |
