TakeStock 2 logs its operation by writing plain text entries to a log file stored in the application's Debug folder.  The log file only exists on your computer and isn't shared.  To help troubleshoot a problem you may have, I might request you to email me the log file.


To change how TakeStock 2 performs logging:


    1. Select the Tools | Options | Logging menu command.  The Logging Options window appears.



    2. Here you can select:

      • Whether TakeStock 2 should log its operation, and if so, the maximum number of log files that should be kept.
      • Whether basic or extended logging should be performed.


    1. Select the options you want and click OK to apply them.
