The quote bar is located at the bottom of the TakeStock 2 window and provides a way to quickly obtain a security's latest price.



To use the quote bar:


    1. Enter a symbol (e.g. IBM) in the box.  If you don't know the security's symbol, click the Find Symbol button to use the Symbol Finder tool to find the symbol.

    2. Click the Quote button or just press Enter.  The security's latest price and other pertinent information appears in the quote bar.

    3. You can also use the quote bar to view a security's chart, company information or historical prices.  Click one of the buttons at the quote bar to do this.
