How to backup your TakeStock 2 data
It's a good idea to regularly backup your TakeStock 2 data to prevent loss of information due to a computer problem or accidental deletion of files.
- TakeStock 2 stores its financial data in a single database file.
To backup your TakeStock 2 database, use the File | Backup Database | To File menu command. To restore your database from a backup, use the File | Restore Database | From File command. You can also backup and restore your TakeStock 2 database using the TakeStock Cloud. - TakeStock 2 saves its visual preferences in the file TakeStock2Preferences.dat. You may want to also backup this file by copying it to a backup device. The location of the preferences file depends on the type of installation you performed.
